Prompthep Cape in Rawai (Phuket)
Promthep, located at the southern tip of Phuket Island, offers a quite exceptional panorama.
In the evening, around 5pm, tourists from all over the world come by bus to enjoy the sunset.
In any case, this point of view is one of the most beautiful in Phuket with a view (so clear) on Koh Raja on one side, on Koh Phi Phi Phi on the other, on the bay of Nai Harn and its Yacht Club.
Finally, the Kanchanabhisek lighthouse, at the top of which you will find a panoramic terrace with a 360° view.
A few steps away, Promthep's restaurant and its flower gardens, a very pleasant place to admire this magnificent panorama while enjoying a local dish or simply a good beer.
The Kanchanabhisek Lighthouse was built there in 1996 to commemorate the 50th anniversary.
the accession to the throne of His Majesty HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej (King Rama IX)
This is the famous Promthep cape... the end of the end of Phuket!

For those who might be tempted to go to the end of the cape, the sandy path is quite easy to follow. There is a small area where we have to be careful, but on the whole, it is relatively feasible for everyone. However, I advise you to wear the right shoes (flip-flops are not great).
Time from the road to the end of the cape... about 15 minutes, but it's worth it!
15 short minutes to discover this!
Wild, violent, dangerous, taking...
To be more or less complete on Promthep... know that there is a Thriller/Roman in French Language... called precisely... "Phrom Thep".
A thriller that is beginning to win a certain success, and even a prize!
